ganglia-monitor-python software package provides cluster monitoring toolkit - python modules, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ganglia-monitor-python
ganglia-monitor-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ganglia-monitor-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ganglia-monitor-python *
You will get with ganglia-monitor-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
